By 11:00am the dynamic duo had already done 50 Kms and they were in Wigan!
Have they been spotted eating pies?
Another lovely day. Good luck, we'll update later.
Meet up with Roger Burgess who's cycled a short way with us. A big thank you to Rodger who game a extremely generous donation and fed us a great lunch.
knee problems

As you cycle your back will be stretching and it is worth putting your saddle up a fraction.Spin a lower gear (more revolution) and look at your cleat position on the shoe. The cleat should be facing directly forward and not in the middle of the shoe back to front , but parralel to the cut away sides.to move the cleat so that it is nearer the crank arm move the cleat to the right and vice a versa.
The issue of how your foot hits the ground may require you to loosen off the tension on the pedal clip so that you have more float or lateral movement.Use an allen key to turn in the adjusting screw and release the spring tension slightly. This allows your foot to roll out more as it might do as you would walk.
